Decorated with a contemporary Scottish twist. All the bedrooms have en-suite facilities, and all with an individual character of their own.

Breakfast is served in the beautiful dining room with the smell of freshly baked bread. Local and homemade produces are laid out on a Art Nouveau sideboard for you to help yourself too, while a freshly prepared cooked breakfast of  locally sourced eggs, bacon and sausages is cooked up for you.

The house has a wonderful history, dating back to 1860, when it was commissioned by a Glaswegian shipping merchant as a holiday home for the family. In later years, it became a holiday retreat for Charles Rennie Mackintosh, the famous Scottish artist and architect, who was a frequent visitor to the house. And now once again a holiday destination, and a place for you to retreat too!
